Trying to find a solution to my spazzing pelvic floor. I injured something in the perineum several years ago. It felt like a rubber band snapping. Lost sensation in down town. Hoping this helps.

hello. I'm a bit late to the party but BOY am I glad I found you Melissa. I'm 11 weeks out from my total hysterectomy and getting back to my beloved yoga practice, albeit tentatively and more cautious than i would like. going back into your archives to practice. Would love a series of perhaps 2 weeks of all post abdominal surgery safe routines to build strength and confidence. Thank you for filling the large gap in the women's health fitness genre.

I am a male with pelvic floor issues. I constantly feel like im comtracting the area down there which has unfortunately caused issues like ED and in the past rectal issues. What confuses me is the breathing. I can perform all the strecthes in the videos i watch, but breathing in theough the nose and exhaling through the mouth to relax the pelvic floor. When I breathe in, I feel like thats when I am clenching, and when I breathe out is when I feel like I am relaxing down there or opening up so to speak. But it should be the opposite, correct? Any feedback is appreciated. Also thank you for having a male in this video, huge help!! Thank you.

@@yojiwahyudi Yes. I get up to urinate 2-3 times a night. I also probably go 15 times a day at work/home.
@@J.DiRTiE i think i am okay daytime. maybe up until now its like 7/8 times. (approaching 8pm). its during sleep that its stressful as i try to sleep and always feels something in my bladder. Did you take Minirin + (or) Betmiga?

I really enjoyed this yoga and I heard all the movements. But instead of farting or pooping I burped and almost threw up after. Is that normal? Did I move the air in the wrong direction? 😶
